Infertility treatment

OUR GOAL IS CHILD BIRTH AND YOUR HAPPINESS

WHAT DOES INFERTILITY MEAN?

The word infertility can be used to describe the condition where a couple cannot conceive a child after one year of having regular unprotected sex.

At this point, it is advisable to contact an assisted reproduction clinic. The team of specialists will not only try to find out the causes of infertility, but also, under their leadership, getting pregnant will become more effective.

Depending on the cause of infertility, we proceed from natural and simple methods to more complex methods so that we avoid the unnecessary prolonging of the couple´s efforts.

Light fertility disorders can be addressed by a lifestyle correction, a woman's ovulation cycle, or proper sexual intercourse planning. Those with more complex disorders can benefit from undergoing IVF or using donor eggs or donor sperms. For such couples the possibility of having a child and establishing a family becomes much more real.

There are many causes of infertility, both on the woman's side as well as on the man´s side, and often they can combine.

The most common causes of female infertility

  • Ovarian causes - hormonal disorders, ovulation disorders, reduced ovarian reserve, and egg quality
  • Endometriosis – finding uterine mucosa outside of its usual location. It can cause obstruction of fallopian tubes, adhesions, and immunological mechanisms complicating embryo implantation.
  • Tubal causes - obstructed fallopian tubes after the occurrence of previous inflammation
  • Genetic causes – chromosomal disorders
  • Immune causes – the production of anti-sperm or anti-embryo antibodies

The most common causes of male infertility

  • Low sperm count
  • Insufficient sperm motility
  • Poor shape (morphology) of sperm
  • The absence of sperm in the ejaculate
  • Genetic causes – disorders in chromosomal equipment
  • Obstruction of the vas deferens – after previous inflammations, surgeries, injuries
  • Problems with sexual intercourse – ejaculation disorders, impotence
